Auto Wholesale Stock Pick

Bob, over at Stock Picks Bob's Advice likes LKQ CORP a maker of wholesale auto parts. He thinks that they have had a good quarter that beat the streets, and its p/e and PEG is better than most. I think one of the most important aspects is that there are a lot of shares out short. He assumes that there will be buying demand down the road, and I have to agree. The stock is worth taking a good look at.

Acusphere - Good micro cap play?

ACUS:Acusphere, Inc. has been a strange story. . Wall Street doesn't think the company's drug Imagify is going to get approved. Yet, doctors are excited about the drug, and think it will be used as soon as it is approved...In the meantime, cash burn is a concern and management is going to have to figure out how to raise money yet again in 2008. So who's right? The stock is currently under $1.50 a share. Is it time for a speculative play?

Syntax-Brillian Goes Big with a Olevia 65-inch LCoS HDTV

Syntax-Brillian(BRLC) is going to be unveiling it's 65″ high-def television next month at the CEDIA Expo in Denver. The LCoS television works similar to DLP except it uses liquid crystals instead of reflective mirrors to produce the picture. This tech will allow for higher resolution images than from LCD or plasma, and at a lower cost to the manufacture.

I've been following this company for a while. They are very popular because of the lower prices on LCD's they offer. I think that at current price it may be a good buy. I would wait for somewhere around $6 to pull the trigger however. If this new television takes off, as I think it will, investors will be rewarded.
